Arts Spanish Glass Pool Tiles are manufactured in Spain, to world-class standards and industry practices using 100% recycled glass materials, without using fossil fuels, water or emitting greenhouse gasses. Made in Castellón (Moncofar, Spain), Arts has been leading the glass pool tile manufacturing process since 2001. Utilising innovative technology and designs, these glass pool tiles are CSIRO tested and certified to AS 3958.1-2007 and will add beauty and practical functionality to your poolside area.
Along with a focus on environmentalism and being fully recyclable, Arts Spanish Glass pool tiles use an evolutionary backing system called the ‘Silicone Dot System’. This means that the glass pool tiles are joined together by silicone dots, allowing you to adhere 91% of the glass pool tiles to your pool’s substrate/shell. This ensures a longer-lasting cohesion and a more straightforward installation process. As the tiles will be submerged under water 100% of the time, you want as much of the glass pool tile to be glued to the substrate as possible. As such, the Arts Silicone Dot Backing System is much stronger than older technologies, which utilise mesh and paper-based backing systems.
Additionally, the Silicone Dot Backing System has a particular and unique silicone formulation. This makes the silicone more flexible, allowing for ease of handling the sheets during the installation process and thus minimising any potential breakage. Since pools have stairs, curves and slopes, the silicone backing of Arts Glass Pool Tiles can be easily cut and adjusted to suit each unique shape and surface for ease of installation and fitting.
